Bio: Saxophonist Joshua Tuttle is a performer and educator based in Cincinnati, Ohio. He holds degrees from Bowling Green State University (MM), The University of South Carolina (BM), and is currently a DMA student at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music where he serves as Graduate Teaching Assistant for the saxophone studio. A regular performer, he has given concerts with the BGSU New Music Ensemble, The Praecepta New Music Society, the UofSC Wind Ensemble, the Left Bank Big Band, and orchestrally with the CCM Concert Orchestra and the UofSC Symphony. He has presented programs around the country at events including multiple Navy Band Saxophone Symposiums, the Bowling Green New Music Festival, numerous North American Saxophone Alliance Conferences, and at the Great Plains Saxophone Workshop. As an educator, Joshua has presented masterclasses and clinics at schools and music programs across the country. He has served on the faculties of the BGSU Summer Music Intensive and Columbia Saxophone Camp, and as woodwind instructor for the Congaree New Horizons Program and BGSU Music PLUS Program. He has also served as saxophone instructor for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra Youth Ensembles and has given lessons and masterclasses with school music programs across the country, having taught in public schools in multiple capacities. Joshua currently directs the CCM CYWE Saxophone Ensemble and maintains a private lessons studio in the Cincinnati area. |
