Sycamore Junior High School 7th Grade Band

7th grade band at Sycamore Junior High School meets every day during the school day. The 7th grade band is divided into two groups of woodwind and brass students of equal ability. As third year students in band, students begin to encounter more complex musical concepts and performance techniques in both sectional and full ensemble settings. Throughout the school year, students will have several concert performance opportunities, as well as the option to participate in solo and small ensemble events in the spring.
