Bio: Alex earned his bachelors degree in music education from North Dakota State University followed by his graduate and doctoral degrees from CCM. During that time he had the pleasure of studying with Denise Tryon, Liz Freimuth, Randy Gardner, and Tom Sherwood. Alex has experience teaching students from middle school through college and is currently teaching lessons at Earlham College and IU East. Alex is an active musician in the area with performing experience ranging from local groups to large orchestras. In his free time he enjoys playing electric guitar, reading, and watching soccer.
